- Kirsten: Mary Jane Was Torture
Spider-Man (2002) star Kirsten Dunst insists she was put through
more pain than her co-star Tobey Maguire - even though he
played the superhero.
The stunning blonde, who dyed the front of her hair red for
the role of MARY JANE, went through more physical pain than
the hunky actor did. She says, "I was doing more stunts
than he was. I was hanging from wires and being dropped. You
see my face, so you can't hide me. He had a mask, but I was
out in the open screaming to myself, wondering what they were
going to put on this blank blue screen."
The Get Over It (2001) star is keen to dispel any expectations
that the film will be a macho man movie. She explains, "It's
a very humanistic Spiderman. I think people will relate to
him a lot. You really feel for him. In a lot of superhero
movies, you don't care about the superhero. This one is different."

- Dunst Kills Nude Scene
Hollywood star Kirsten Dunst has banned a two minute nude
scene from her new movie. The 19-year-old demanded changes
from the film Crazy/Beautiful after seeing it with her mother.
Director John Stockwell said, "I think her mom was a
bit taken aback. Kirsten felt a little uncomfortable about
too much attention on the nudity in her first sexual movie."
He cut the scene in half, erasing all traces of nudity, and
finally got Dunst's approval. The actress, who at 13 had to
kiss Brad Pitt in Interview With A Vampire, is currently filming

both her parents but they can't bear each other.
According to pals, Dunst's parents went through a bitter divorce
and while she is close to both, they don't talk to each other.
One pal says, "It really hurts Kirsten to know that two
people she loves so much don't love each other. "
Dunst's mother INEZ, a former model, divorced her German-born
dad KLAUS when she was just eight years old. She admits, "Divorce
can be hard, but I don't feel that I've suffered. My mother
had me when she was in her 30s and we're very close. She's
the hippest mom I know. "I'm incredibly close to my dad,
too.

- Brad's Bad Lips
Brad Pitt was horrible to kiss - according to his Interview
With The Vampire co-star Kirsten Dunst. The young actress
had to pucker up for a scene with the actor, when she was
only 11, and admitted at the time it was not enjoyable. She
says, "I am sure I would love to do it now, but back
then, I was, like, 11 and it was 'ugh.' There's nothing sexual
or sexy when you're that age. So I was kissing Brad Pitt.
So what? He had chapped lips. He was lovely and kind and sweet
to me, but it was just yuk."

- Kirsten Dunst Evolves From Girl To Woman
Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst in adamant she will undergo
the transformation from child to adult actor successfully.
Currently filming Spider-Man opposite Tobey Maguire, Dunst
has made over 30 films in which she played child or teen roles
since her big-screen debut at age 8. And 19-year-old Kirsten
is aware of the pitfalls of finding fame at an early age,
learning from the plight of stars like Macaulay Culkin, who's
failed to achieve the same success as a teenager and young
adult that he had at an early age. She says, "I've been
in show business since I was a little girl. I grew up in front
of the camera. So I know more than anyone about the pressures
that are out there. I've been able to make the transition
from child to adult actor, so I've been lucky. I have grown
up in front of audiences and I think because I've done television
such as ER, it has helped people to accept me."

Dunst's Christmas Trees
Christmas isn't Christmas for Kirsten Dunst unless she's got
an enormous tree - even if it's covered in feathers and fake
money. The actress boasts the trees her mother decorates at
home are bigger and better than those in department stores.
And even when she's not at home, the Dunst family go to town
on their Christmas decor. She says, "Last year, we were
in Vegas while I filmed an independent movie. My mother and
I stayed in this c**ppy little apartment. We had a tacky Vegas
Christmas tree with hot pink feathers and shooting stars and
fake money. Everywhere we've been, my mom always makes the
holidays incredibly homey."

Dunst Head Over Heels In Love
American actress Kirsten Dunst is looking forward to a cosy
Thanksgiving holiday - with her new lover Ben Foster. The
pair met on the set of her new movie Get Over It (2001) and
having been very unlucky in love in the past, Dunst is very
excited about her new romance and its future. She says, "It's
hard for me to truly connect with people. So when it clicks
it's amazing. I can't go just halfway. Maybe I'm a weird girl
and I just needed a good freak to match with me. I don't fall
in love with every one of my co-stars. It's nice to have those
sparks because that's what makes it magical on screen."

Did Cheerleading To Fit In
Movie star Kirsten Dunst became a cheerleader in grade school
so she could fit in with the in-crowd. The star says her cheerleading
past helped her make friends with other kids. She says, "I
did it for a little bit to kind of fit in more because I was
working on my films and I just wanted to be in the in-crowd,
kind of more popular. I had so much fun cheer leading for
that year but then I didn't do it in high school." Learning
to cheer paid off for her when she had to cram in all the
right moves for her upcoming film, Bring It On (2000) in just
seven days. Kirsten says, "It definitely helped me a
lot with the script because I knew everything they were talking
about. It's so much more involved than what I did as a cheerleader.
I only had one week of rehearsals. I had to jam in all the
stunts, all the dancing, everything. It was stressful but
it was so much fun. I love to dance so it was fun."
