- Reese Fights The Stereotype
Actress Reese Witherspoon
is proud of being from the southern state of Tennessee - despite
it causing prejudice against her. The Legally Blonde star
has surprisingly never received any criticism for being blonde,
but had to contend with attitudes towards her origin. She
says, "People hear a southern accent, and automatically
figure you have seven children and are barefoot, living on
a farm, married to your cousin." The stunning wife of
Ryan Phillippe admits she disguised it to further her acting
career. She adds, "When I started acting, I was told
to lose my accent, or I wouldn't work that much. But I still
have it. It comes out whenever I go back home."

- Reese Loves Ryan's Mohawk
Actress Reese Witherspoon is standing by her husband Ryan
Phillippe's wacky haircut - despite it being despised by Hollywood.
The Legally Blonde star doesn't understand what all the fuss
is about and insists she and their 2-year-old daughter Eva
like his new look. She says, "He went out in the backyard
one night and he cut his hair off. He just wanted a mohawk;
he's always wanted a mohawk. I think it looks really good
on him. I like it. He came upstairs, and I was like, 'Oh my
gosh!' But I think it looks really good. Eva likes to run
her hands over the top of it. She thinks it's a rug."

- Reese Witherspoon Grows Out Of Bitchy Streak
Reese Witherspoon is glad she's not bit**y to people - anymore.
The Legally Blonde (2001) beauty shamefully admits she wasn't
the nicest person while in high school - but has learned some
valuable lessons about how to treat people since.
She says, "There was a time early on in high school when
there was a lot of pressure to be mean. You were part of the
cool crowd if you were mean-spirited toward other people.
I remember my mom - one day she came in and my best friend
and I were being so mean about somebody, saying we thought
they were a dork or something. "
She continues, "I remember my mom saying 'That's the
most awful thing! I don't want you speaking like that in my
house. ' And I thought, 'Oh mom. Whatever'. It was the cool
thing to do - tear other people down. I think that's so uncool
now. You do it because you're so completely insecure about
yourself that you can't be cool about other people. "

- Reese Witherspoon's Britney Spears Obsession
Reese Witherspoon knows who she'd fancy if she wasn't married
to heart-throb Ryan Phillippe - Britney Spears.
The Election (1999) actress admits the teen pop star turns
her on. She says, "I have a little crush on Britney.
I think she's pretty cute. "I mean, there's something
so appealing about her. The whole outfit and the hair and
the dancing. It's just the entire package.

- Reese Witherspoon Wants To Be A Survivor
Reese Witherspoon is desperate to take part in the reality
television show SURVIVOR - to show the world that manners
are more important than lies.
The actress was stunned when the competitors voted for the
man who had lied and cheated all the way through the first
series, over the woman who was essentially nice. And although
she'd certainly be up for a celebrity version of Survivor,
the actress is pretty sure she wouldn't win. She says, "I'd
pretty much beat the pants off everyone. But I do think that
no one would vote for me at the end. I don't think all those
men would want a woman to win. I'm a lot tougher than I look.
I may be 5'2'', but I am tough. "

- Reese Witherspoon Hopes For Friends Comeback
REESE WITHERSPOON is desperately hoping the FRIENDS stars
continue with the hit TV show - so she can have another guest
spot on the show. DAVID SCHWIMMER, JENNIFER ANISTON, COURTENEY
COX ARQUETTE, MATTHEW PERRY, LISA KUDROW and MATT LEBLANC
are all presently locked in negotiations with top bosses at
NBC. The stars gave network bosses less than two weeks to
come up with the cash for a deal which will see the show run
for another two years. The actors are reportedly demanding
$1 million each per episode to continue the show. And Witherspoon,
who recently appeared on the show, is hoping she will get
a second chance to make a guest appearance saying, "Friends
was great. I know Jennifer socially and she was so nice and
supportive. The whole cast was very accommodating... They
have asked me to come back but I don't now if they can work
it out and have the show on. I will have to wait and see.
I really hope so."
